Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These terms govern your use of the Coachy platform. By registering or using Coachy, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. The platform

Coachy is a marketplace that connects clients with professional coaches. We facilitate the discovery and booking of coaching sessions. We are not a coaching provider and are not party to the coaching relationship between coaches and clients.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when registering
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must not share your account with others
  • We may suspend accounts that breach these terms

4. Coaches

Coaches are independent professionals. By joining Coachy, coaches agree to provide services as described in their profiles and to conduct themselves professionally. Coachy reserves the right to suspend or remove coaches who breach these terms or fail to meet our quality standards.

5. Bookings and cancellations

  • Bookings are confirmed once a coach's card is successfully charged the platform fee
  • Clients may cancel within the cancellation window shown on the coach's profile
  • Session fees are paid directly between the client and coach
  • Coachy is not responsible for disputes over session fees

6. Platform fees

Coachy charges coaches a flat platform fee for each confirmed booking. The current fee is displayed in the coach onboarding and dashboard. Fees are non-refundable except where a booking is cancelled due to a platform error.

7. Reviews

Clients may submit reviews after completed sessions. Reviews must be honest and not defamatory. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

Coachy is not liable for the quality of coaching delivered by coaches. We provide the platform only. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the platform fees paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
